CTG Full Stack QA Engineer (Automation, APIs, Cloud) in New York, New York
CTG is seeking to fill a Full Stack QA Engineer (Automation, APIs, Cloud) position for our client.
Location: New York, NY
Duration: 12 months

Key Responsibilities:
Build and maintain automated test frameworks across UI, API, and backend layers
Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing
Lead automation strategy and promote TDD/BDD practices
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing
Validate cloud-based applications (AWS) and containerized environments (Kubernetes)
Conduct API testing and ensure system reliability, scalability, and security
Collaborate with engineering teams to improve code quality and testing coverage
Mentor team members and drive QA best practices
Required Skills:
Strong QA and test automation experience
Node.js / backend testing experience
API testing (REST, Postman or similar tools)
Functional, regression, and performance testing
Automation tools (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, WebdriverIO, MochaJS)
CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps)
Kubernetes and container-based testing
AWS or other cloud platforms
Qualifications:
6+ years of QA experience across full-stack applications
Experience with automation frameworks and design patterns (POM, TDD, BDD)
Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum environments
Experience with microservices and distributed systems preferred
Bachelor’s degree in a related field (or equivalent experience)
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
