An exciting opportunity within the global division at Jo Malone London. Supporting the business to deliver strategic and measurable consumer marketing plans globally. Support and lead the strategy and innovation cycle from a marketing perspective. Bring a strategic, holistic and forward⁃thinking view of brand opportunities within marketing. Partner closely with the strategy and finance team to lead on all key brand presentation meetings e.g. annual strategy/innovation cycle, IRT, taskforces etc. Lead on upcoming and exciting strategic projects for the brand.
This role will, in conjunction with key partners within the Consumer Marketing team (Social, Paid Media, CRM and Sustainability), as well as broader teams (Global Marketing, Online, Retail Experience, Content & Comms, Omnichannel), deliver brilliant results across impactful, measurable consumer marketing plans. They will work closely with teams from initial briefing to campaign execution by regions & local market affiliates.
Responsibilities:
Strategy & innovation
Partner closely with strategy team to lead on the annual strategy perspective from a marketing perspective
Partner closely with Strategy and Finance to build presentations for other key ELT meetings e.g. taskforce/steercos, IRT etc
Strategic projects: Lead on strategic projects for the brand, these are diverse, cross⁃functional and exciting
Help prioritise and support the marketing vision considering needs of the business, serving as a communicator linking the leadership team to the broader organisation
Strategic/ bigger picture thinking: Takes a broad view of the business, industry, and consumer environment to anticipate and plan for the future, embraces and proposes change by distinguishing what to preserve and what to change, and swiftly mobilizing to action
Work with Consumer & Global Marketing teams to develop executable marketing plans to deliver against long term strategy
Consumer Marketing
Project Management & Collaboration: Support across global marketing programmes (brand and non⁃NPL), ensuring Activation Briefs & Creative Requests are delivered and meet business objectives. Ensure that all programmes are delivered on time.
Go⁃To⁃Market: Develop the consumer marketing strategy & guidance for programmes, collaborating with channel teams to ensure all elements are meeting business goals
Creative & Content: Be the key point of contact on programmes to supply content & creative briefs working with Content, Creative Ops and key departments on delivery
Reporting & Post Campaign Analysis: Lead wrap up reports for consumer marketing
Qualifications
Substantial experience in marketing
Strong experience building and shaping brand/marketing strategy
Forward⁃thinking candidate with experience ideating and innovating for brands
Knowledge of key marketing touchpoints (Social Media, Digital, PR)
Preferable experience in a 360 agency or evident broad knowledge from in⁃house brand
In⁃depth understanding of the competitive landscape across the lifestyle & luxury fragrance sector
Organisation skills
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, prioritization, planning, and task delegation
Strong communicator, able to simplify and explain complex plans and strategic thinking with a resourceful and driven attitude
Able to influence, collaborate and engage at all levels
Robust communications planning skills across owned, earned, shared and paid media
Well organised with strong attention to detail Analytical
Numerate and able to understand, interpret and use complex and varied sources of data and statistics
Analytical and data skills
Proficient in Microsoft Suite (especially PowerPoint)
Education: Undergraduate degree preferable, however candidates with strong evidence of experience, performance & knowledge will be considered
