The Estee Lauder Companies Executive Director, Creative Operations in New York, New York

Description

This role will manage all VMSD and Packaging programs, and partner with cross⁃functional teams within Creative, Marketing, Supply Chain and Packaging Development to oversee the end⁃to⁃end Creative process for these categories. This candidate should be a strategic leader, have outstanding communication skills, liaise successfully with senior leadership, and foster collaboration. This role will be responsible for evolving new processes, techniques and technologies while also driving a cycle of continuous improvement within existing Project Management team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive VMSD and Packaging Creative workflow and schedules for all programs based upon volume, deadlines, and priorities. Capture milestone dates and overall timelines regularly validating and adjusting timelines as needed, communicating, and providing solutions to mitigate risk.

  • Initiate directive to begin work process on all programs based upon receipt of screened and pre⁃approved creative briefs.

  • Establish feasibility and timing of incoming requests to gain official approvals and start/completion dates. Communicate project approvals, progress reports, and expectations of delivery should completion date timing need to be amended.

  • Liaise with Senior Leadership, GBSC, Global Marketing, and Regional RDDC heads to ensure priorities are clearly established and achieved, meeting deadlines within budget.

  • Managing resources to ensure staffing and talent skills to meet future requirements.

  • Launch and maintain Creative VMSD and Packaging workflow in to the corporate Wrike project management.

  • Evolve VMSD and Packaging workflows to drive efficiency, with a focus on change management to facilitate improved productivity and compliance.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years related work experience in an operations /project management environment

  • Prior experience in a fast⁃paced, high pressure creative environment (cosmetic industry experience is a plus ⁃ but not required)

  • Experience with visual merchandising, store design, packaging and project management

  • Strong presentation skills, ability to personally organize, prioritize, and manage workload and resources

  • Experience in leading and motivating teams and developing talent
