Creative Circle Event Activation Coordinator with Salesforce experience in NEW YORK, New York

Our client is the Event Strategy & Production team of a nonprofit organization seeking an Event Marketing Coordinator, known as the Event Activation Coordinator, for a 4-5 month assignment, with possible extension, that will be about 15-20/hours per week, possibly more during peak periods. Core hours are 10 AM - 3 PM EST. Target start date is first week in March.SALESFORCE experience is REQUIRED and preferably you come from a corporate prestigious organizationMust be able to go onsite to their NYC office as needed for events or meetings but this is mainly a remote roleThe Event Activation Coordinator will support the Events Manager with:- Creative, collateral, and audience activation across a dynamic portfolio of events- Strategies, systems, and collateral that activate an event and engage audiences- CRM list building, event marketing campaigns, and registration operations, ensuring that event communications are timely, accurate, and brand-aligned- Inbox inquiry managementThere are several events throughout the year, sometimes multiple per week, of various sizes and audiences. Events are about half internal (town halls, retirement parties, receptions, etc.) and half external (book launches, panel discussions, board retreats, etc.) and are hosted in different spaces and rooms within the organization's building.The Event Activation Coordinator must have:- Some event coordination experience, ideally at least 3 years- Experience drafting/editing basic copy- Experience manage audience lists and campaigns (ideally in Salesforce)- Experience coordinating campaigns and data between platforms (such as Salesforce, Splash, Mailchimp)Bonus: Passion for social justice or philanthropy and/or understanding of in the civil society / nonprofit sectorIn this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data.
