Required Education/Experience
Master's Degree and 6 years full-time work experience, including 3 years of relevant work experience in clean energy, distributed generation, or other relevant industry. or
Bachelor's Degree and 8 years full-time work experience, including 3 years of relevant work experience in clean energy, distributed generation, or other relevant industry.
Preferred Education/Experience
Master's Degree -MBA
Bachelor's Degree in Business Sustainability, Energy related discipline, Economics.
Relevant Work Experience
Demonstrated ability to analyze and synthesize data into business insights and effectively communicate the information in oral and written deliverables. Required
Ability to work effectively with ambiguity and comfortable leading in a dynamic environment. Required
Possesses deep curiosity and strive to understand the essence of areas of focus and priority. Required
Demonstrated success leading business or corporate strategy development. Required
Experience with financial analysis. Required
Demonstrated experience analyzing information, both technical and financial, and making recommendations based on that information. Required
Demonstrated work experience leading a fast-paced, project-oriented team. Required
Demonstrated experience leading creative solutions to strategic challenges. Required
Proven leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to drive results by collaborating with stakeholders to build consensus. Required
Strong communications, presentation, writing and analytical skills. Required
Demonstrated organizational skills, and the ability to see the big picture and at the same time pay close attention to details. Required
Demonstrated leadership of diverse, cross-functional teams to drive business results. Preferred
Experience and or knowledge of New York State regulatory environment and key stakeholders. Preferred
Familiarity with utility financials. Preferred
Working knowledge of regulatory processes such as preparation of rate proceedings, responding to commission orders and responses to interrogatories. Preferred
Experience developing projects related to distributed energy resources or infrastructure serving customers' distributed energy needs. Preferred
Licenses and Certifications

Additional Physical Demands
The selected candidate will be assigned a System Emergency Assignment (i.e., an emergency response role) and will be expected to work non-business hours during emergencies, which may include nights, weekends, and holidays.
Must be able and willing to travel within Company service territory, as needed.
