Overview

The role of Director, Value Management incorporates both internal and client-facing responsibilities and is positioned at the intersection of Investment, Value Management, and Procurement. Reporting into the SVP, Commercial and Business Operations, this role will be responsible for the day-to-day management of media value commitment measurements, including the tracking of savings and quality commitments, methodology development, data management, reporting, and client relationship management. The ideal candidate brings experience from a value, accountability, or media consulting background, along with strong expertise in digital investment.

Responsibilities

Full responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Working closely with Investment, the central Value Management Team at Publicis, Auditors and Clients to develop strategic savings and/or value delivery methodologies used to measure value performance commitments

  • Oversee and ensure value target achievement and proactively propose solutions for risk avoidance

  • Create customized savings and quality tracking programs and engage with Investment in monitoring impact to performance

  • Proactively support internal forecasting, monitoring, and reporting of P&L performance

  • Adhere to and build on best practices across each channel investment team for onboarding, data collection, analysis, and value reporting aggregation

Qualifications

  • 5-7+ years of media agency experience, preferably across digital investment channels with at least 2+ years of experience in a media accountability or auditing role

  • A thorough knowledge of media trading metrics and investment data reporting

  • Proven track record of resiliency and ability to navigate ambiguity

  • Ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and client teams

  • Fundamental understanding of MediaOcean, Prisma or similar investment data reporting options

  • Strong analytical thinking skills and interest in process improvement

  • Self-starter with ability to work independently and in a collaborative team setting

  • Strong technical proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with a heavy focus on Excel

Compensation Range: $121,315 - $194,220 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
