The above hiring range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.Position SummaryReporting to the Senior Associate Dean for MSSW Education, the Director of Institutional Research and Evaluation serves as the School's senior analytics leader and a strategic advisor to executive leadership. This role is responsible for advancing a comprehensive institutional research and analytics function that informs academic planning, enrollment strategy, program performance, and accreditation.The position requires a holistic understanding of CSSW operations and plays a critical role in shaping data-informed decision making across the School.Responsibilities * Manage institutional research tools, platforms, and subscriptions; oversees related resources to ensure effective delivery of analytics and assessment services. * Manage and maintain daily interfaces (data integration and report generation) across various School and University systems (e.g., between the University's Student Information System and CSSW's practicum internship management system). * Translates complex institutional data into clear, actionable insights to guide leadership decisions related to program growth, resource allocation, and student success. * Lead comprehensive institutional research efforts related to the MSSW and doctoral programs, including application, yield, enrollment, retention, time-to-degree, and graduation , with a focus on interpreting findings and recommending improvements. * Provide benchmarking and external market analysis, synthesizing findings into strategic recommendations to maintain competitiveness. * Produce statistical reports as needed on the School's doctoral program, including but not limited to application, acceptance, and enrollment trends; and time to degree and graduation rates. * Oversee the School's learning outcomes assessment processes and program evaluation strategies, including evaluative surveys on courses, advisement, practicum learning, and administrative supports, synthesizing data into actionable insights for program enhancement and continuous improvement. * Lead the School's annual career outcomes data strategy, collaborating with the Director of Career and Leadership Management to identify, analyze and report on career outcomes and employment trends for recent graduates, advising leadership on implications for program design and student support services. * Complete the CSWE annual program survey of the MSSW program's application, enrollment, graduation, and faculty data. * Partner with CSSW leadership to implement the Master of Science program's biennial learning outcomes assessment plan, as required for accreditation by CSWE to ensure students are adequately prepared in the competencies essential to the social work profession. * Provide data and analyses for external reporting, rankings, and institutional submissions, ensuring accuracy while also contextualizing results for leadership and external stakeholders. * Produce, as needed, ad hoc reports and analyses of national trends (e.g., in enrollments) to be used as benchmark data to assure that CSSW keeps pace with other competitive programs. * Consult and train, as needed, School staff on survey design, data interpretation, and research software. * Oversee the ongoing automation of subscriptions to the School's LISTSERV email lists for official communications with students. * Administer annual faculty elections for the School's various faculty co
