Job Description:Lead and mentor a high-performing data science team, fostering a collaborative and results-driven culture while setting clear goals and providing technical guidance. Drive the development and execution of a data science strategy aligned with business priorities, identifying impactful projects and emerging tools. Oversee the design and deployment of machine learning models for key areas such as credit risk, fraud detection, and customer insights, ensuring accuracy and scalability in production. Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure data quality and advocate for strong data governance. Translate business needs into data solutions, communicate insights clearly to diverse audiences, and influence strategic decisions. Represent the Data Science team internally and externally, promoting its impact across the organization. Telecommuting permitted 100% of the time. Job Requirements:Masters or foreign equivalent degree in Data Science or a related fi eld and two years of experience in leading data science initiatives, including the development and deployment of machine learning models in a business environment. In the alternative to the Masters or foreign equivalent degree in Data Science or a related fi eld and two years of experience in leading data science initiatives, including the development and deployment of machine learning models in a business environment, the employer will accept a Masters or foreign equivalent degree in any fi eld and five years of experience in leading data science initiatives, including the development and deployment of machine learning models in a business environment. Position also requires experience in: SAS, MATLAB, Python, SQL, machine learning model development and deployment, statistical analysis, data visualization, predictive analytics, data pipeline design, and working with large-scale structured and unstructured datasets. Any suitable combination of education, training, or experience is acceptable. What We Offer: Compensation: This role is eligible for our annual merit-increase program, and we are offering a salary range of $275,000 - $280,000 per year.
