Description
The Director of Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) is a finance leader who adds value by creating and implementing actionable data analytics and reporting for the global organization. Reporting to the VP, Corporate FP&A, this role is responsible for managing deliverables related to the quarterly guidance and monthly estimate process, along with reporting and analysis on global performance. Responsible for providing leadership at a Corporate level at ELC across Affiliates, Regions, Brands, Functional Departments and Channels. This individual will provide Executive Management with insights on the business through enhanced analyses and reporting, with a focus on analyzing global expense estimate reporting.
Responsible for leading the global finance organization by creating insightful analytics and reporting related to the quarterly guidance and monthly global P&L estimates
Lead the Corporate FP&A planning process with a focus on consumer-centric financial planning, specifically as it relates to consolidating and analyzing operating expense estimate reporting
Strengthen FP&A partnership with corporate function, global support and region finance teams to capture insights and accurately reflect projected financials, which inform strategic decisions
Develop and maintain robust financial models for forecasting operating expenses (both consumer facing and non-consumer facing), including scenario and sensitivity modeling
Integrate consumer-focused financial drivers into planning models
Apply scenario planning on operating expenses to discover insights that will drive strategic decisions and will identify opportunities and risks. Leverage as comparisons for the risk and opportunities identified by the business.
Track changes to forecast assumptions on operating expenses and present findings. Analyze and report on trends. Conduct deep-dive variance analysis, collaborating with the business to understand and clearly explain key drivers of performance monthly.
Prepare and review comprehensive monthly reporting and presentation decks for Senior Management, that deliver timely and actionable insights
Responsible for assisting with key quarterly earnings analyses. Support investor relations and executive communications with articulate presentations.
Tracking of business rules – report on the business adherence to guidelines set by Corporate in regards to optimizing investments and protecting margins
Oversee the tracking of corporate funds and stretch approvals
Lead FP&A process automation and improvement initiatives to strengthen forecasting accuracy and streamline reporting.
Participate in the roll-out of agentic AI, applying intellectual curiosity to explore new capabilities, challenge traditional forecasting methods, and embed autonomous insights into decision-making processes.
Build collaborative relationships with Brand, Regional and Corporate Finance teams
Proactively seek ways to enhance, streamline, and automate existing processes
Assist in the identification, development, and adoption of strategic ad hoc initiatives that contribute continuous process improvement to the organization
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting required, MBA or CPA preferred
8+ years of relevant experience, including corporate finance and accounting
Advanced P&L management, budgeting, and forecasting experience
Experience building complex analytical models
Excellent financial and analytical skills, with the ability to analyze business impacts and synthesize messaging in an appropriate manner
Strong PC skills including SAP, OneStream, PowerPoint and particularly Excel, with the ability to work with data efficiently and effectively
Highly organized and detail-oriented, with strong work ethic, in order to manage tight deadlines and multiple deliverables
Demonstrates strong presentation skills, ability to communicate and present to Executive Management
