Citibank, N.A. Data Governance Foundation Lead Analyst in NEW YORK, New York

Citibank, N.A. seeks a Data Governance Foundation Lead Analyst for its New York, New York location. Duties: Advise on data quality, metadata standards and metadata management process, Issue Management & Resolution (IMR), and End User Computing (EUC). Perform data access control and quality checks to ensure safe, accurate, consistent, timeliness and proper storage within each line of business. Oversee provision of quality data from upstream data sources to downstream consumers. Responsible for access control, storage, data quality and process improvement. Review requirements and verify controls are in accordance with Trusted Sources Methodology with support from data stewards and data custodians. Ensure adherence to Authoritative Provisioning Point (APP) requirements, understand consumption requirements, confirm completeness, accuracy, timeliness and granularity of inbound and outbound data and their sources. Coordinate APP operations, data quality, data demand, and open data quality exceptions and issues. Review changes to CDEs and Corporate CDEs with data stewards and business architects by data domain; assess impact on APP. Enhance trustworthiness and usage of data from Trusted Sources. Collaborate to understand and ensure consumption requirements are fulfilled. Analyze and document issues, risks and missing control process for fully compliant applications. Collaborate on potential process enhancements. Lead implementation of controls to identify, document, and resolve weaknesses. Support data quality measurement initiatives, produce data quality dashboards and reports in Tableau, and implement data quality strategies to govern data and improve data quality. Use Tableau, Excel and PowerPoint to design dashboards, views and presentations. Develop methods to identify data patterns and trends in data sources, perform data quality analytics, and identify data challenges. Optimize metrics reporting process and key stages of the data concern lifecycle. Monitor SLAs and drivers to promote risk reduction for the firm. Review quality analysis results and disposition data challenges, and ensure adherence to data/issue management process. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policies and protocols. Requirements: Requires a Masters degree, or foreign equivalent, in Management Information Systems, Information Technology or related field and 2 years of experience as an AssociateProjects, System Testing & Validation Consultant, or related position involving data quality and data management strategy. Alternatively, will accept a Bachelors degree in the stated fields and 5 years of the specified progressive, post-baccalaureate experience. 2 years of experience must include: Application database management system to diagnose problems and ensure applications stay compliant; Using data query, data analytics, and data visualization; IT project management, including meeting deadlines and maintaining proper documentation. At least 1 year of experience must include: Constructing and developing data pipelines that integrate data quality rules to reduce complexity, bottlenecks, repetition, and guesswork; Big data analytics to diagnose process flow, understand the metadata and data lineage of applications, and categorize them into systems of Trusted Sources; MS Excel and PowerPoint for data analytics and presentations; Excel pivot tables, power query, VLOOKUPs and formulas; Root Cause Analysis; SQL and Python.
