Robert Half Data Entry Clerk in New York, New York
Description We are looking for a meticulous and detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to join our team in New York, New York, on a Contract to permanent position. This role is ideal for someone with a keen eye for accuracy and the ability to manage high volumes of information efficiently. As part of a non-profit organization, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate records and ensuring smooth operational workflows.
Responsibilities:
• Review scanned documents and accurately assign appropriate Document Type statuses within 48 hours of receipt.
• Create new claims and update relevant information in the iVOS system as necessary.
• Process and input data from various document queues, including Expense Bills, NF2 Forms, Police Reports, and Litigation, within three business days.
• Assist Claims Examiners with data entry-related questions and corrections as needed.
• Sort, date stamp, and distribute incoming mail promptly, ensuring all tasks are completed within four hours of receipt.
• Prepare outgoing mail by weighing, applying postage, and handling additional correspondence as required.
• Enter tracking information into the system, generate reports, and follow up on outstanding items.
• Perform tasks independently with minimal supervision, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.
• Be adaptable and ready to take on additional responsibilities as assigned by management. Requirements • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Proficiency in basic PC skills and familiarity with data entry systems.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-motivated individual with the ability to work independently.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Prior experience in data entry or a related field is preferred, with at least one year of relevant experience.
