Creative Circle Content Writer / Strategist Figma, Content Strategy, UX Copy in NEW YORK, New York

This position supports a global insurance organization as a Content Writer / Strategist through October 2026. The role focuses on customer servicing with an emphasis on designing clear, simplified transactional experiences. The ideal candidate understands the customer journey and can translate user insights into strategic, actionable content plans that improve end-to-end experiences.The BasicsDuration: 8-monthHours: Full-time, approximately 40 hours per weekLocation: Remote, must be able to work EST hoursTop 3 Required Qualifications 1. Minimum 4 years of experience in content strategy or content design for websites, apps, and email, with a portfolio demonstrating copy for customer interactions and strategic problem-to-solution thinking. 2. Strong proficiency in writing microcopy and instructional content for transactional experiences, along with proven ability to collaborate with UX teams in iterative, agile environments. 3. Experience working in regulated industries (such as finance, healthcare, or insurance) with a strong record of success on complex, multi-dimensional programs.Other Qualifications * Ability to provide a strong portfolio of work * Proficiency with tools such as Adobe XD Cloud, Figma, Miro, and similar platforms * Familiarity with information architecture, taxonomy creation, and content modeling * Ability to interpret user research and analytics to inform content decisions * Deep understanding of content organization and tagging best practices * Strong communication, presentation, and facilitation skills * Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and operate effectively in client-facing scenarios * Experience contributing to human-centered design processes * Ability to take initiative, think strategically, connect insights across workstreams, and drive results * Passion for storytelling, quality content, and elegant content solutionsKey Responsibilities * Develop clear and actionable content strategies based on user insights and business priorities * Plan content structures, contribute to information architecture, and build taxonomies and content models * Partner with UX Designers to create narrative direction, instructional text, and microcopy for transactional experiences * Advocate for content as a means of building meaningful customer relationships * Maintain and evolve brand voice and tone as needed * Create messaging strategies, outlines, and content tailored to user personas * Deliver compelling user interface copy for wireframes, prototypes, and related assets to ensure a consistent end-to-end experience * Use data and customer feedback to evaluate content effectiveness and adjust strategies * Embed within cross-functional teams to define and implement content strategies aligned with broader product goalsIn this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data, including financial information.BenefitsCreative Circle's Freelance Employee benefits package includes eligibility for Minimum Essential Coverage (MEC) medical plan, dental/vision/term life package, discount prescription program, critical illness, accident, tele-behavioral health, and 401(k) plan.
