We are seeking a skilled Construction Project Manager to oversee projects from Pre-Construction through Construction Management and General Contracting phases. You will act as the primary representative to clients, consultants, and ownership, ensuring successful project delivery.
Responsibilities
Manage projects through Pre‑Construction, Construction Management, and General Contracting phases.
Serve as the primary representative to clients, consultants, and ownership.
Lead project teams with proactive, daily communication and clear direction.
Coordinate closely with Superintendents to maintain site operations and progress.
Develop and maintain project budgets, schedules, and cost reports.
Identify long‑lead items and manage procurement strategies.
Evaluate constructability and recommend value‑engineering solutions.
Ensure work is executed in compliance with drawings, specifications, and design intent.
Oversee project closeout, warranties, and turnover documentation.
Manage subcontractor buy‑out, scopes, contracts, RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
Coordinate MEPS, FA/FS, kitchen systems, lighting controls, AV, and specialty scopes common to hospitality and commercial projects.
Interface with expeditors and municipal agencies to support inspections and signoffs.
Essential Skills
5+ years of experience as a Construction Project Manager.
Experience supporting hospitality, retail, restaurant, commercial, and institutional projects.
Proficiency in Procore, MS Project, and Primavera.
Experience with scheduling, communication with subcontractors, RFIs, change orders, and submittals.
Experience managing Assistant Project Managers, Superintendents, and subcontractors.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with healthcare construction projects is a plus.
PMP certification is advantageous.
Open to candidates with 20+ years of experience, but ideally seeking those with 5-10 years of project management experience.
Work Environment
The work environment is dynamic, with projects located throughout NYC. The standard work hours are 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $115000.00 - $190000.00/yr.
