ConEdison Clean Energy Senior Specialist DERMS in New York, New York
Required Education/Experience
Bachelor's Degree and four years of work-related experience.
Master's Degree and three years of work-related experience.
Preferred Education/Experience
- Master's Degree preferably in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field and four years related work experience in a system engineering/analysis area.
Relevant Work Experience
Project Management experience including working on large multi-million-dollar projects, is Required.
Very strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral) are required. Public speaking and presentation experience and skills a plus, is Required.
Experience with the application or design of standards and specification, is Required.
Excellent quantitative and analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data, is Required.
Familiarity with renewable technology and Distributed Energy Resources, is Required.
Self-sufficient person who can work collaboratively in multi-disciplinary teams, is Required.
Ability to communicate technical information to technical and non-technical audiences, is Required.
Experience with writing, executing, and reporting on test plans and progress, is Required.
Experience with the procurement of equipment and contractor resources, is Preferred.
Experience producing formal documentation, is Preferred.
Experience in the utility and/or energy industry, is Preferred.
Proficient in data visualization and communication using Oracle, SQL, Python, PowerBI or Tableau, is Preferred.
Experience using Azure Dev Ops and Agile development methodologies to streamline workflows, is Preferred.
Knowledge in operations of the Distribution system or power system modeling, is Preferred.
Experience in communication protocols (SCADA, OpenADR, 2030.5, or other), is Preferred.
Familiarity with operational systems (SCADA) and communication protocols, is Preferred.
Experience with software implementation, including writing and executing test protocols, is Preferred.
Experience in a lab environment, planning and troubleshooting test setups, is Preferred.
