Your Opportunity
Stantec’s New York City office is seeking candidates who are interested in learning about bridge inspection and would like to be considered for our 18-month training program sponsored by the New State Department of Transportation (NYSDOT). This training program will provide the qualified candidate an opportunity to become a bridge inspector. The position involves assisting in performing bridge inspection in Queens County.
Our team has a passion for the work that they do, and we’re looking for candidates with a similar passion. The successful candidates will join a growing team of transportation professionals and contribute to the inspection component of bridge projects in New York City.
Your Key Responsibilities
The work will include field inspection of various bridges in Queens County
You will work with a qualified Inspection Team Leader and Assistant Team Leader to perform bridge condition evaluation and documentation
Your Capabilities and Credentials
Available for flexible hours including nights and weekends
Valid driver's license or ability to obtain one is preferred
Preferred: Knowledge of AutoCAD, MicroStation and Microsoft Office
Education and Experience
Associate’s degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Technology or a minimum of 18 months of verifiable bridge-related experience

• Locations in NYC & CA (Bay Area) & NJ (RP)-$62,600.00 - $84,500.00 Annually
The final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible.
