Barnard College Benefits & Compensation Analyst in New York, New York

RESPONSIBILITIES -Support the day-to-day administration of employee benefits programs, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, retirement (403(b)), flexible spending accounts, tuition benefits, workers compensation, COBRA, and unemployment -Manage designated components of benefits administration as assigned, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and a high level of service -Assist with annual Open Enrollment activities, including system configuration, testing, audits, employee communications, and coordination with vendors and carriers
QUALIFICATIONS -Strong understanding of employee benefits programs and compensation principles; familiarity with higher education practices preferred -Exceptional attention to detail with strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills -Advanced Excel skills and strong data management and reporting capabilities -Experience working with HRIS and benefits systems; Workday experience preferred -Ability to communicate complex information clearly and professionally to a wide range of audiences -Bachelors degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience -Two years of experience in human resources, benefits administration, compensation analysis, or a related analytical role -Demonstrated experience working with compensation benchmarking tools, surveys, and HRIS platforms
SALARY $80,000 - $88,000 annually
