Value AcceleratorThe Value Accelerator ("VA") is a critical component of the Asset Management Division investing strategy at Goldman Sachs. Our success is built on a foundation of rigorous financial discipline, strategic insight, and a commitment to fostering strong leadership within our portfolio companies.Overview of Role: The VP of Finance for Portfolio Operations will be a critical member of our investment team, responsible for overseeing and enhancing the financial performance and capabilities of our portfolio companies. This individual will work directly with the CFOs and finance teams of our portfolio companies, providing strategic guidance, implementing best practices, and ensuring robust financial reporting and controls. The role requires a hands-on, operationally-focused finance leader who can drive value creation across a diverse portfolio.Key Responsibilities:Portfolio Company Financial Oversight: Serve as a strategic financial advisor to portfolio company CFOs and finance teams, guiding them on financial strategy, operational improvements, and value creation initiatives. Operational & Strategic Support: Qualifications: Salary Range The expected base salary for this New York, New York, United States-based position is $150000-$300000.
