iPark Accounts Receivable & Customer Service Coordinator in New York, New York

About the Company A growing, NYC-based operator supporting over 200 parking garage locations across the city. This is a fast-paced, essential business that keeps New York moving, with continued expansion and a collaborative team environment. Position Overview We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable & Customer Service Coordinator to join a team of five. This role supports billing, collections, and customer account management across multiple locations and a large base of monthly parking clients. Its an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong customer service background who is comfortable working with numbers and interested in developing accounting experience. Key Responsibilities Set up new customer and vendor accounts in internal systems Process applications for monthly parking clients and maintain accurate account records Post and track payments across various payment methods Monitor accounts receivable and assist with collections outreach Maintain AR aging and support assigned locations in keeping balances current Prorate charges and ensure accurate billing, including correct tax application Maintain deposit records and tracking logs, updating customer information as needed Generate reports and assist with account reviews Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email in a professional manner Support operational needs such as generating decals for customers and vendors Track progress toward collection goals across assigned locations Qualifications Strong customer service or retail background with experience handling payments or account-related inquiries Comfortable working with numbers and basic calculations (prorating, rates, etc.) Detail-oriented with the ability to stay organized across high-volume accounts Clear and professional communication skills Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) Experience with accounting or billing systems (SAP or similar) is a plus, but not required High school diploma required; additional education is a plus Compensation & Benefits $17-$20/hour base pay Incentive opportunities tied to collections performance Medical, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off (vacation, sick, bereavement) Pension plan Stable, full-time direct hire position with growth potential
