Qualifications

- Ability to work independently and maintain accurate records

Seeking an organized and detail-oriented Bookkeeper / Accounting Coordinator to join our team. Our company manages vacation rentals, long-term rentals, and real estate sales, and this role is essential to keeping our financial operations accurate, organized, and running smoothly.
The ideal candidate enjoys working with numbers, tracking details, and managing multiple financial processes across several related companies.
Key Responsibilities
Daily Financial Management
- Monitor company bank accounts and transactions
- Record and post payments from booking platforms such as Airbnb and Booking
- Manage escrow deposits, receipts, and releases
- Process sales commission deposits and issue agent commission checks
Accounting and Bookkeeping
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and financial reporting
- Process vendor payments and accounts payable
- Generate financial statements and accounting reports
- Record payroll journal entries and monthly bank fees
- Assist with sales tax processing and required filings
Property Management Financial Support
- Prepare and distribute owner statements
- Process owner payments and rental income deposits
- Track security deposits, cancellations, and refunds
- Manage housekeeper payments and vendor invoices
- Track insurance policies and compliance documentation for vendors and properties
Reporting and Administrative Accounting
- Prepare accounting reports including sales volume, rental reports, and bank balance reports
- Maintain vendor W-9 records and insurance documentation
- Coordinate with the company CPA for year-end adjustments and financial reporting
- Assist with annual 1099 preparation for agents and vendors
