ND job order 924698 Temporary seasonal position from 3/11/2026 to 12/15/2026 Feed and water livestock and monitor food and water supplies. Assist with calving and processing livestock, examine animals to detect illness, injury, or disease, and to check physical characteristics, such as rate of weight gain. Provide medical treatment, such as administering medications and vaccinations, or arrange for veterinarians to provide more extensive treatment. Mark livestock to identify ownership and grade, using brands, tags, paint, or tattoos. Maintain heated watering system. Segregate animals according to weight, age, color, and physical condition. Inspect, maintain, and repair equipment, machinery, buildings, pens, yards, and fences. Move equipment or livestock from one location to another, manually or using trucks or trailers. Drive tractor or equipment to plant, process or harvest feed, drive truck to haul grain, unload trucks. Be able to work with people or by themselves without supervision to complete tasks carefully and completely. No smoking in vehicles, equipment, shops, living quarters, or outdoors in hayland, hay yard or pasture. Employer will conduct a criminal background check and drug test after applicant is hired, at the Employers expense, if needed in case of an accident or erratic behavior of the employee while on the job site. Per North Dakota state law, vehicles and machinery can not be operated by a person under the influence of drugs or alcohol. If employees are found under the influence of drugs or alcohol while on the job, they may be suspended from work or terminated. Referrals accepted from local Job Service, word-of-mouth, gate hires, etc. Order holding office to refer applicants. Office hours are Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. CDT at 701-653-5690. The actual employment offer is at the sole discretion of the employer. Referrals will be accepted from the State Workforce Agencies (SWAs), directly from applicants, walk-ins, gate hires, and from other sources. SWA should thoroughly familiarize each applicant with the job specifications and terms and conditions of employment before a referral is made. Workers must meet all the following criteria: 1.
