Essential Functions of the Job:
Inventory Control & Cycle Counting
Perform detailed and precise cycle counts of warehouse and production locations in accordance with established guidelines.
Enter, review, validate, and post cycle count results in inventory systems; ensure recounts are performed when required.
Assist in monitoring overall inventory accuracy to support company variance goals.
Investigate negative inventory balances and discrepancies; determine root causes and recommend corrective actions.
Verify accuracy of W.I.P. (Work in Progress) through physical counts and analysis of work order transactions.
Assist with internal and external audit processes related to cycle counting and inventory reconciliation.
Support A, B, C inventory classification analysis and adjustments as required.
Assist in resolving receiving, transfer, and work order transaction issues impacting inventory accuracy.
Monitor inventory locations for shrinkage, write-offs, and adjustment trends, report findings with corrective recommendations.
Assist with annual physical inventories.
Able to safely operate material handling equipment, including forklift trucks, as required.
Production Support
Enter OT/ST and resolve any back orders.
Review transfers daily for completion.
Assist in expediting service back orders.
Assist in reprocessing and back flushing machine work orders.
Support cross-functional issue resolution involving scheduling, order processing, and system updates.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA’s):
Strong ability to perform detailed and precise cycle counts with high accuracy.
Ability to analyze inventory data, identify discrepancies, and determine root causes.
Working knowledge of inventory control principles in a manufacturing environment.
Ability to manage computer-based inventory and ERP systems.
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
Ability to work cross-functionally with multiple departments.
Ability to safely operate a forklift truck.
Knowledge of company safety and quality systems to ensure compliance.
Ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Education and Experience :
High School Diploma or GED required.
Prior experience in inventory control, cycle counting, or materials management preferred.
Experience in a manufacturing environment is strongly preferred.
ERP system experience a plus.
Production scheduling experience helpful but not required.
Working Conditions:
Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 35 pounds alone and greater than 50 pounds with assistance.
Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 8+ hours) as required.
Ability to wear appropriate PPE, including hearing/eye protection, gloves, and safety shoes.
Must be able to work overtime as needed to complete job assignments.
Ability to work in an environment that is not climate controlled in the manufacturing plant.
Frequent walking, bending, stooping, reaching, and climbing as required by job tasks.
