Robert Half HR Generalist in New Orleans, Louisiana
Description We are looking for a dedicated HR Generalist to join our team in New Orleans, Louisiana. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting various human resources functions, ensuring smooth operations and fostering a positive workplace environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills, a proactive approach, and a solid understanding of HR practices.
Responsibilities:
• Manage employee relations by addressing workplace concerns and fostering a positive culture.
• Oversee onboarding processes to ensure new hires are effectively integrated into the organization.
• Administer employee benefits programs and provide guidance to staff on available resources.
• Utilize HRIS systems to maintain accurate employee records and streamline HR processes.
• Lead full-cycle recruitment efforts, from sourcing candidates to finalizing job offers.
• Collaborate with department managers to identify staffing needs and develop hiring strategies.
• Support compliance efforts by ensuring HR policies align with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Facilitate training sessions and development programs focused on attention to detail for employees.
• Travel occasionally to regional offices within Louisiana to provide HR support.
• Assist in developing and implementing HR initiatives that align with organizational goals. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an HR generalist or specialist role.
• Demonstrated ability to lead with empathy and foster respectful relationships with staff and patients.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with HRIS platforms such as Lawson.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to regional offices within Louisiana.
• Strong knowledge of employee relations, onboarding, and recruitment processes.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and maintain a high level of professionalism.
