Job Title: Welder

Job Description

You will be working in an established metal fabrication shop to weld agricultural drying equipment, hoppers, augers, equipment frameworks, and trailers. You will be working in blueprints and weld symbols to complete all welding projects. In the future, you will be given the opportunity to become State Certified and obtain various other welding certifications through the company.

Pay: $22.00 to $30.00+/hr based on experience

Responsibilities

  • Fit parts to specifications using blueprints

  • MIG weld mild steel and aluminum materials based projects

  • Inspected weldments and grind welds

  • Operate forklifts and overhead cranes to move materials

  • Obtain welding certifications through the company.

Essential Skills

  • Proficient in MIG welding with over 2 years of experience on mild steel.

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and weld symbols.

  • Experience with TIG welding and fabrication.

Work Environment

Quiet, clean, and climate controlled facility. The 1st shift hours runs 6:00AM to 4:00PM and the 2nd shift hours run from 3:45 PM to 1:45 AM, Monday through Thursday.

This is a Permanent position based out of New London, WI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $32.00/hr.
