We create quality products in a safe environment for our team members. Benefits Effective Day 1! Position Summary: This position will be responsible for operating the grinders, mixers and powerlifts. Responsibilities: * Follow computer generated formulations step by step. * Scale and grind meats producing up to 10 preblends/hour. * Empty mixers into two vats, each weighing approximately 2900 pounds. * Move vats, weighing approximately 2900 pounds of product, from under mixer to staging area. * Level tanks, keep the floor clean at all times, and follow general housekeeping duties. * Use the computer-generated formulator for specific meat types to hit correct fat percentage for blends (once every 3 minutes). * Ability and willingness to perform basic math functions (i.e.: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division). * Ability and willingness to scan or input into computer system, all product film, boxes, casings, clips, and ingredients for all daily product runs, including change overs. * Ability and willingness to follow formulations on the computer and accurately record and report food safety or product information. * Complete SAP functions with issuing meat prior to additions. (complete for one blend every 6 minutes). * Complete grinder head checks. * Complete all necessary paperwork. * Ability and willingness to work overtime and/or weekends as needed. * Comply with all safety, food safety, GMP and SQF requirements. * Perform all positions of job rotation as needed. * Perform any other work as assigned by management. Physical Requirements: The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation. * Ability and willingness to push/pull/lift with arms below waist/at shoulder/above shoulder level with a minimum of 20 pounds frequently. * Ability and willingness to push 2900 pounds (with assistance). * Ability and willingness to use rapid mental/muscular coordination simultaneously. * Ability and willingness to flex/grip with hand/wrist frequently. * Ability and willingness to stand/walk/climb/bend for up to 10 hours. * Ability and willingness to work on elevated platforms and workstations. * Ability and willingness to work in wet conditions and cold temperatures at 35 degrees.
