HPC Industrial Project Manager Industrial Services Experience Req. in New Lenox, Illinois

HPC Industrial powered by Clean Harbors is hiring an Industrial Services Project Manager, join their safety focused team based out of New Lenox, IL ! This position is responsible for planning, leading, organizing and coordinating all aspects of project work from bid process through completion of project. Ensure project is completed in a safe manner according to the job procedure plan as well as the safety execution plan. Other responsibilities include effective communication with customers, field crew and the operations manager in charge of the account. Ensure appropriate/reliable equipment and fully trained personnel are on site.

TWIC card required. Industrial services and Supervisory experience required. Extensive travel required up to 50%.

  • Lead crews during project execution; ensure tasks follow the work plan and safety procedures.

  • Perform jobsite walkdowns to identify hazards, verify readiness, and ensure compliance.

  • Enforce company safety policies and operational standards.

  • Coordinate manpower and communicate resource needs to the Project Manager.

  • Track crew hours and ensure accurate documentation for billing/payroll.

  • Serve as the on-site point of contact for minor adjustments or issues.

  • Assist PM with job progress updates and reporting.

  • Support scheduling by communicating crew availability and project needs.

  • Participate in toolbox talks, safety stand-downs, and weekly planning meetings.

  • Monitor equipment and consumable usage; provide updates to PM.

  • Participate in monthly safety reviews and corrective-action planning.

  • Provide feedback on crew performance and training needs.

  • Support data collection for monthly customer KPI reporting (if required).

  • Lead crews during project execution; ensure tasks follow the work plan and safety procedures.

What does it take to work for HPC-Industrial?

  • Seven years industrial cleaning environment with 3-5 years project management experience; prefer project management experience to include but not limited to management of bid proposal to the successful execution of the project.

  • 50-75% travel within US is required.

  • TWIC card is required.

  • Proven ability to operate, maintain and troubleshoot industrial cleaning equipment. Prior project management/supervisory experience with proven leadership skills.

  • Ability to research, plan & follow-up leads to secure business.

  • Proven well developed teamwork and collaboration skills including strong verbal and written communication, presentation, and team facilitation.

  • Must be well versed in technical writing and verbal communication.

  • Must possess excellent interpersonal skills to build positive relationships and handle conflict resolution.

  • Has the ability to develop solutions to resolve account problems.

  • Excellent analytical, planning and organization skills.

  • Must have the ability to prioritize to meet multiple deadlines.
