Service Writer -- Automotive Industry
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet Customers and manage service inquiries both in person and over the phone
- Knowledge of National Accounts and Fleet Management
- Actively advise on service needs and estimated pricing
- Scheduling service appointments, follow-up on customer satisfaction and confirmation of upcoming appointments
- Accurately enter data into POS (Point of Sale) system and maintain transaction records
- Communicate proactively with customers regarding estimates, timelines and status updates
- Warranty processing and vendor follow-ups
Must be able to pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
Requirements:
- 2-5 years' experience in automobile customer service
- Automotive mechanical experience/knowledge
- Prior experience with retail tire and service brands
- Hands-on experience with TireworksHD, Auto-Integrate or fleet maintenance platforms
- Knowledge of POS (Point of Sale) Systems
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
Reliable and trustworthy
Compensation:
- Hours: Monday-Friday 8:00 am - 2:00 pm, depending on scheduled appointments and needs for the week
Hourly compensation will be determined on experience
