FLC Farm Worker in New Hope, Pennsylvania

REQUIREMENTS: Must be at least 18 years of age. Must be available the entire work period of 4/1/26-12/1/26. Must agree to 45 hr work week. Employer will provide transportation from employer provided living quarters to work site every day. Must read, and agree to, all terms and conditions of employment prior to a referral to the employer.

*SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: *Must have at least 3 months of verifiable experience in all job duties. This job requires exposure to extreme temperatures, ability to lift 50 lbs., repetitive movements, extensive walking, frequent stooping, extensive pushing and pulling and driver requirements.

*JOB DUTIES: *Handling manual tasks associated with commodity production and harvest activities. Farmworkers will be involved in all stages and aspects of vegetable production, including: seeding, watering, transplanting, cultivating, crop maintenance, tractor work (for soil prep, transplanting, mowing, etc.), weeding, harvesting, and post-harvest washing and packing. Crops: Annuals, Arugula, Beans, Beets, Bell peppers, Bok choy, Broccoli, Cabbage, Kale, Collards, Carrots, Celery, Cilantro, Cut flowers, Eggplant, Endives, Fennel, Garlic, Green beans, Head lettuces, Lavender, Lettuce, Melons, Napa cabbages, Onions, Parsley, Peas, Peppers, Potatoes, Radishes, Pumpkins, Root crops, Spinach, Spring mix, Spring onions, Squashes, Sweet potatoes, Swiss chard, Tomatoes, Tomatillos, Turnips, Vegetables and melons, Zucchini Workers who possess a valid driver's license and meet all applicable legal requirements, including holding a doctor's certificate as required by 29 CFR § 500.105, may be asked to drive vehicles for transporting workers, goods, or commodities on company business. This task is voluntary, compensable, and not a mandatory job duty. Workers without a valid driver's license or doctor's certificate will still be fully eligible for employment and are not disqualified from any other job responsibilities outlined in this application. The employer can and will make alternative arrangements for the transportation of workers should the need arise.

EMPLOYER ASSURANCES:

BOARD ARRANGEMENTS: Employer will furnish free and convenient cooking and kitchen facilities so workers are able to prepare their own meals. The employer will provide transportation to assure workers access to stores where they can purchase groceries.

HOUSING: Employer-provided housing is available for all workers who live outside a reasonable daily driving distance.

TRANSPORTATION TO WORK SITE: The employer will provide transportation for all workers living in the employer-provided housing to and from the daily work site(s).

*WORKERS COMPENSATION INSURANCE: *Provided.

TOOLS, SUPPLIES, EQUIPMENT: Tools, supplies, and equipment needed to complete the job will be provided by the employer at no cost to the worker.
