Your Opportunity
Our Dynamic New Haven, CT Structural team is looking for an intern for the Summer of 2026.
Your Key Responsibilities
Assist engineers in the preparation of contract documents and reports for a variety of civil engineering projects ranging from bridges (non-structural aspects), roadways, parks, recreational spaces, and transit facilities.
Responsibilities include computer-aided design and drafting, checking drawings and calculations, quantity take-offs, simple design calculations, and field inspections.
Your Capabilities and Credentials
- Minimum requirements include some exposure to CAD Design programs and current good academic standing in accredited engineering school.
Education and Experience
- Must be currently enrolled in an accredited Bachelors or Masters Engineering Program, preferably Civil Engineering.
Typical office environment involves working with computers. Field work may include exposure to the elements including inclement weather. Spring Co-op Interns are expected to work 40hrs/week minimum in the office. In-office work only. No hybrid or remote accommodations included.

• Locations in CO, HI, IL, MD & Various CA, NJ Areas - Min Salary $ 54,000.00 - Max Salary $ 75,600.00
The final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible.
