As we prepare to open our brand-new Advanced Switchgear Facility (ASF) in New Galilee, PA, we are looking for skilled, hands-on Assembly Technicians to join MEPPI's growth and involvement in North Americas electric utility transformation. We are looking to hire, train, and grow Assembly Technician I's on 2nd and 3rd Shift in our Warrendale, PA facility then move to 1st shift when our new facility opens in New Galilee, PA. So, while you may start out training in the evenings, you won't stay there long as 1st shift is part of the plan. What Youll Do Build the Future: Assemble frames, bushings, and sub-assemblies for circuit breakers and parts orders according to detailed company specifications and work orders. Get Technical: Perform basic electrical connections based on diagrams and specs, ensuring everything is prepped for shipment, including applying sealants and packaging securely. Master Your Tools: Use a variety of hand and power tools to create high-quality assemblies, following technical drawings, mechanical blueprints, and bills of materials. Inspect & Perfect: Inspect subassemblies and assemblies for defects using specialized equipment and correct any issues to ensure top-notch quality. Be a Mitsubishi Ambassador: Learn and discuss our Quality, Safety, and Environmental Policies, ensuring you understand their importance and impact on your work. What Were Looking For Mechanical Enthusiast: Whether from work experience or hobbies, youve got a knack for using tools and enjoy putting things together. Education: High school diploma or GED, plus at least two years of work experience or equivalent education. Tech-Savvy: Basic computer skills are a plus. Safety-Minded: Ready to complete necessary safety training to operate machinery and equipment like forklifts and cranes.
