International Vehicle Dynamics Ride Engineer in New Carlisle, Indiana

We're looking for a talented, and passionate Vehicle Dynamics Ride Engineer to join our team and help us take our company to the next level.
Responsibilities
Support the development of innovative chassis systems and components (ride, handling, steering systems), aiming to improve the customer experience from the perspective of vehicle performance efficiency, durability and reliability
Support the set-up of measurement systems and the design of data analysis tools and procedures during the Proof-Of-Concept phase
Provide technical guidance and recommendations to support the production and calibration of the systems under development
Interface with Chassis engineering community assess the risk of the proposed concepts and develop plans to manage it through virtual and physical test activities
Meet timing & budget constraints whilst achieving the vehicle, systems and component targets
Perform root cause analysis of issues detected in products released or under development, implement lessons learnt on subsequent products
Perform correlation activities to align the simulation models with physical test data.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology or Computer Science and at least 1 year of product design/development and/or computer science experience
OR
- Master's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology or Computer Science

Desired Skills
Strong understanding of vehicle dynamics theory and application
Strong understanding of automotive steering and suspension components and function.
Ability to understand Engineering direction and provide design concepts accordingly.
Good knowledge of validation, verification and testing process.
Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment.
Excellent Communication Skills – both written and verbal

Salary Minimum: USD $84,800.00/Yr.
Salary Maximum: USD $127,200.00/Yr.
