Our client, a leading organization in infrastructure and data center operations, is seeking a dedicated Infrastructure Delivery Cable Install Technician to join their onsite team in New Carlisle, IN. As a vital part of the infrastructure team, you will contribute to the installation and maintenance of critical network and server infrastructure. The ideal candidate will demonstrate physical stamina, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, aligning well with the organization’s commitment to high standards and continuous improvement.

Job Title: Infrastructure Delivery Cable Install Technician

Location: New Carlisle, IN

Pay Range: $23.50/hr.

What's the Job?

  • Install, inspect, and troubleshoot structured copper and fiber cabling in data center environments.

  • Label and patch cables to switches and facilitate handoff to customers.

  • Perform physical installation of network and server racks, patch panels, and related devices.

  • Coordinate daily material delivery, movement, and installation of enterprise IT equipment.

  • Maintain accurate inventory and documentation for all infrastructure components.

What's Needed?

  • Experience in structured cabling installation and troubleshooting, including fiber, CAT5, and CAT6 cables.

  • Ability to physically install, move, and troubleshoot servers, network devices, and racks in a data center environment.

  • High school diploma or GED required; a bachelor’s degree is not necessary.

  • Comfortable working on ladders, lifting over 40 pounds, and working on feet all day.

  • Strong understanding of computer hardware, networking devices, switches, and cable management best practices.
