Our client, a leading organization in infrastructure and datacenter services, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Infrastructure Delivery Cable Install Technician to join their onsite team in New Carlisle, IN. As part of this dynamic team, you will play a vital role in supporting the installation and maintenance of critical IT infrastructure, ensuring seamless operations across the facility. Job Title: Infrastructure Delivery Cable Install Technician
Location: New Carlisle, IN
Pay Range: $23.50 per hour
*Schedule : Wed-Sat (10 hours) 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM EST
What's the Job?
Install, inspect, and troubleshoot structured copper and fiber optic cabling in data center environments.
Perform physical installation of network and server racks, patch panels, and related devices.
Coordinate daily material delivery, movement, and installation of enterprise IT equipment.
Maintain accurate inventory and documentation for all infrastructure components.
Utilize ticketing systems and communication tools to track and report the status of tasks.
What's Needed?
High school diploma or GED required; technical certifications (e.g., BICSI, CompTIA) are a plus.
1+ years of experience in IT support, infrastructure installation, or cabling.
Solid understanding of computer hardware, networking devices, switches, and servers.
Comfortable working in physical, hands-on roles involving cable termination, racking, and equipment deployment.
Strong analytical and communication skills.
