The Senior Manager, Portfolio Management is a critical lead in advancing the Global Project Portfolio (GPP) as a decision-making capability for E&PS. This role is accountable for standing up and maturing the GPP operating model to ensure portfolio decisions are made using consistent, trusted, and integrated data. Acting as a steward of GPP, the Senior Manager delivers an end‑to‑end portfolio view and evolves reporting from descriptive dashboards to forward‑looking and predictive insights. Through advanced analytics, this role enables leaders to anticipate cost and resource risks, optimize capital allocation, and align investments to strategic priorities.
The Senior Manager partners closely with stakeholders to translate GPP insights into clear, leadership‑team‑ready recommendations, builds portfolio literacy through targeted training, links high‑risk assets to project portfolios to drive early risk mitigation, and embeds resource and capacity planning to proactively surface constraints that could impact delivery of critical initiatives.
The ideal candidate brings demonstrated experience at the portfolio and/or program level, with the ability to use integrated data and analytics to inform strategic decisions and influence stakeholders. They are skilled at translating portfolio insights into leadership‑ready recommendations and partnering across functions to embed new tools, governance, and ways of working.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the stand‑up and maturation of the Global Project Portfolio (GPP) as a core decision‑making capability, including defining portfolio governance, roles, ownership, and ways of working
Act as steward of a single source of truth for the global Capex project portfolio, integrating data across enterprise systems to provide an end‑to‑end view of investments, performance, and risk
Evolve portfolio reporting from descriptive dashboards to forward‑looking and predictive insights that enable leaders to anticipate schedule, cost, and resource risks, optimize capital allocation, and align investments to strategic priorities
Develop and deliver consolidated portfolio views, including Capex and schedule risk, to support leadership decision‑making and portfolio trade‑offs
Translate complex portfolio data into clear, leadership‑team‑ready insights and recommendations, influencing investment and prioritization decisions
Enable linkage between high‑risk assets and project portfolios to ensure early identification, visibility, and mitigation of risks
Embed resource management and capacity planning into portfolio insights to proactively identify constraints that could impact delivery of strategic initiatives
Partner across E&PS functions, regions, and business stakeholders to ensure consistent inputs, alignment, and adoption of portfolio standards
Build portfolio literacy by training and coaching user groups to interpret GPP outputs and apply insights effectively in portfolio and leadership forums
Continuously improve portfolio processes, analytics, and tools to strengthen transparency, predictability, and portfolio performance
Qualifications
A Bachelor’s degree is required. Degrees in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field are preferred
Qualifications or formal training in data analytics
Relevant certification or qualification in Portfolio or Program Management
MBA or equivalent advanced business degree
FPX Trained
Minimum 5 years of experience in Project Delivery management, including experience operating at the portfolio or program level
Proven ability to partner across diverse business functions in a matrixed environment
Strong analytical capability, with experience extracting, analyzing, and interpreting data to drive business and portfolio insights
Demonstrated ability to translate data into clear, senior‑leadership‑ready presentations and recommendations
Knowledge of portfolio management systems and inter‑segment portfolio coordination (e.g., Planisware, G‑Craft or similar)
Experience using analytics and integrated data to support portfolio‑ or program‑level decision‑making
Familiarity with portfolio, capital planning, or enterprise planning tools (e.g., Planisware or similar)
Ability to translate complex portfolio data into clear, executive‑ready insights and recommendations
Experience supporting portfolio governance, operating models, or investment decision frameworks
Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, including enabling adoption of new tools and ways of working

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :
$122,000.00 - $212,750.00
Additional Description for Pay Transparency:
Subject to the terms of their respective plans, employees are eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).
Subject to the terms of their respective policies and date of hire, employees are eligible for the following time off benefits:
Vacation –120 hours per calendar year
Sick time - 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Colorado –48 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington –56 hours per calendar year
Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays –13 days per calendar year
Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year
Parental Leave – 480 hours within one year of the birth/adoption/foster care of a child
Bereavement Leave – 240 hours for an immediate family member: 40 hours for an extended family member per calendar year
Caregiver Leave – 80 hours in a 52-week rolling period10 days
