Process Technician- Integration Build
Responsibilities:
Maintain Safety awareness for themselves and team members
Attend design reviews, both mechanical/electrical and provide input
Give input for build improvement ideas
Read electrical schematics and wire panels to print
Assemble automated cells and fixtures using NX drawing software
Operate a forklift for building and installing equipment
Wire equipment based off electrical schematics
Work in awkward positions throughout an automation build/install
Work closely with team members
Develop safe plan of actions for build/teardown/install
Maintain good communication with team members
Give updates during builds/installs to Supervisor
Willingness to take PLC courses to better the team
Willingness to take Hydraulic/Pneumatic courses to better the team
Support plants during machine downtime situations
Mentor co-ops and other team members
Qualifications:
Highschool diploma or equivalent
Must have valid driving privileges
Must be willing and able to travel, including overnight (5-20%)
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience with machine building or equipment service activities
Knowledge of wide range of concepts, practices, and procedures for integration
Demonstrate sound analytical and decision-making process.
Outstanding communication skills to facilitate discussions within cross-functional teams.
Adaptability and ability to prioritize and support multiple projects at once.
Willingness to learn new technologies and take on tough challenges with energy and positivity.
Consistency and dedication in achieving quality results, even under variety of circumstances.
