ManpowerGroup HRIS Business Analyst in New Braunfels, Texas
Our client in the transportation industry is looking for a Business Analyst with HRIS experience to join their team!
1 year contract to start - can be contract to hire
*Fully remote during contract (work from Texas is preferred) - when you convert to FTE, will need to relocate to be in New Braunfels, TX office a couple days a week (if not already in the area)
Business Analyst – HRIS & Enterprise Systems
Role Summary
The Business Analyst – HRIS & Enterprise Systems partners with HR, IT, procurement, vendors, and business stakeholders to analyze requirements, support vendor selection, and deliver HRIS and enterprise solutions within a PMO‑governed environment. This role focuses on requirements analysis, process design, vendor coordination, and solution delivery , with light project management responsibilities to support execution and governance.
The role acts as a key liaison between internal stakeholders and external vendors , ensuring alignment from RFP through implementation and post‑go‑live support.
Key Responsibilities
Business Analysis (Primary Focus)
Lead requirements elicitation and documentation for HRIS and enterprise system initiatives, including functional, non‑functional, technical, reporting, and compliance requirements.
Analyze and document current‑state and future‑state business processes , identifying gaps, risks, and opportunities for optimization.
Develop process flows, use cases, data flows, and system diagrams to support configuration, development, and testing.
Translate complex business needs into clear, actionable requirements for technical teams and vendors.
Support data migration activities , including data mapping, cleansing, validation, reconciliation, and reporting.
Partner with HR, IT, finance, and compliance teams to ensure solutions meet operational, regulatory, and reporting needs.
Support SIT and UAT planning and execution , including test case development, issue tracking, validation, and sign‑off.
HRIS & Domain Expertise
Serve as a functional liaison for HRIS platforms supporting:
Payroll
Benefits administration
Recruiting and onboarding
Performance management
Time and attendance
Compliance and reporting
Support end‑to‑end HRIS implementations, enhancements, and upgrades , from discovery through post‑go‑live stabilization.
Collaborate with technical teams to troubleshoot integration, data, and system issues involving APIs, middleware, databases, and reporting platforms .
RFP, Vendor Support & Stakeholder Liaison
Participate in and support RFP and vendor selection activities , including:
Requirements definition and documentation
Vendor questionnaires and scoring criteria
Proposal evaluation and gap analysis
Act as the primary business liaison between internal stakeholders and external vendors , ensuring clarity of scope, requirements, and expectations.
Facilitate vendor workshops, demos, and design sessions to validate solution fit against business needs.
Support contract readiness by ensuring functional and technical requirements are accurately reflected in vendor deliverables.
Partner with vendors during implementation to clarify requirements, review designs, support testing, and validate outcomes.
Escalate risks, issues, and scope impacts related to vendor delivery and ensure alignment with internal stakeholders.
Project & Delivery Support (Secondary Focus)
Support project planning activities, including scope definition, milestones, dependencies, and delivery timelines .
Assist with risk and issue identification , documentation, and mitigation planning.
Track progress and support preparation of weekly project status reports highlighting milestones, issues, risks, and dependencies.
Coordinate and facilitate cross‑functional meetings, workshops, and stakeholder reviews.
Maintain project and solution documentation to support governance, traceability, and audit readiness.
Participate in project close‑out activities, contributing to lessons learned and continuous improvement efforts.
Qualifications & Experience
Required
5–10 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or Techno‑Functional Analyst in enterprise environments.
Strong experience supporting HRIS platforms and HR business processes.
Demonstrated experience with:
Requirements gathering and documentation
Process mapping and gap analysis
UAT/SIT coordination
Data migration and validation
Vendor and stakeholder coordination
Working knowledge of enterprise systems, integrations, databases, and system architecture .
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
Preferred
Experience supporting RFP processes and vendor evaluations .
Familiarity with project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid) in a PMO environment.
Ability to work through ambiguity and drive clarity through analysis and documentation.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Detail‑oriented, analytical, and proactive problem solver.
