BSH Home Appliances Corporation seeks Module Leader II at its facility located at 100 Bosch Blvd., New Bern, NC 28562. Acts to manage a regional development team focused on controls specification development, electronic components development and sourcing, embedded software development and other electronic development efforts within BSH Cooking Region North America. The team focus is to support North American new product development and sustaining teams with electronics development especially regarding continual dependency on connected services and digital UX. This role establishes, maintains, and manages the electronic development targets concerning quality, time, and cost objectives. To build up and keep current electric development tools, processes, and practices within the team. To Build up and keep current an electronics Development team that can support the New Product Development teams with project deliverables for our customers and support the product and production through end of life. Establish and maintain a continuous interaction within the greater BSH Electronics Development network, utilizing the much larger Electronics Development network to help augment efforts in North America. This individual will be involved in solving challenging development problems using technology, engineering, and leadership by taking consumer requirements and working with global electronics, sensors development, data management and Smart Cooking digital services teams to create a competitive appliance platform for the next decade. Manages all aspects of New Electronic development according to the Electronic Product Development Process (Electronic - PEP). Manage platform strategy and support technical consulting on IOT HW/SW dependencies. Assist with resource management and planning to support projects. Establish and maintain department processes and procedures to support electronics development. Establish and maintain network with EDS and global electronics development teams. Support as needed Cost reduction efforts and Quality Improvement efforts. Responsible for presentations of project statuses to upper management. Supervise department personnel and coach on employee development. Provide training opportunities for department personnel as it pertains to employee career growth when applicable. Assist in prioritizing projects and activities when needed for the team. Role supervises 13 direct reports: (10 Electrical Engineers, 2 Co-Op Students for the summer rotation and I work study student). WAGE RANGE: $110,094-$168,131. REQS: This position requires a bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration or a related field. 7 years of experience as a Development Engineer, Development Project Manager or in an occupation involving product development of Electrical Systems or Electronics in the Home Appliance or Consumer Goods Industry. Additionally, the applicant must have employment experience with: (1) Budget management and cost analysis; (2) Product development of Gas and Electric cooking products; (3) Measurement systems, CAD, SAP, and databases; (4) FMEA, Metrology, PDM, and ISO; (5) Product testing; and (6) IOT systems/smart devices, touch Uls and app/API integration.
