The Golf Place Lead Service Attendant in New Bern, North Carolina

Position Summary

The Lead Service Attendant is the senior floor staff member responsible for delivering a consistently

excellent guest experience from arrival through checkout. This role owns facility opening and closing,

simulator bay setup, guest onboarding, real-time troubleshooting, and the cleanliness and readiness of

the venue. The Lead Service Attendant trains and directs part-time Service Attendants, handles point-

of-sale transactions when covering the bar, and serves as the venue's Social Media Lead responsible

for scheduled content delivery through GoHighLevel.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Facility Opening and Closing

Execute the full opening checklist including simulator startup, bay calibration, bar readiness,

restroom inspection, and facility walk-through.

Execute the full closing checklist including simulator shutdown, cash drawer reconciliation,

cleaning, securing the facility, and reporting daily numbers.

Document opening and closing completion with initials, time, and any exceptions.

Simulator Bay Operations

Boot up all simulator bays at open: PCs, projectors, launch monitors, and software (GSPro and

FSX Play).

Calibrate GCHawk launch monitors and verify data accuracy prior to guest arrival.

Greet arriving guests within 30 seconds, assign bays, provide rental equipment, and configure the

selected game format within 5 minutes of check-in.

Troubleshoot simulator hardware and software issues using the reboot protocol; escalate to the

General Manager if issues exceed 10 minutes.

Turn over bays between sessions within 5 minutes: wipe screen, reset tees, sweep mat, verify

ball supply.

Guest Services

Provide attentive, courteous service to every guest and member.

Answer questions about pricing, memberships, leagues, and events.

Offer and sell memberships, packages, and event registrations.

Redeem Groupon vouchers and manage promotional codes accurately.

Cleanliness and Facility Standards

Maintain a spotless venue: vacuum mats and floors at close, spot-clean during shifts, monitor

restrooms every two hours, and restock supplies.

Monitor and control the ambient experience: TVs set to golf content only, music playlist at

appropriate volume.

Inspect rental clubs before and after each use; flag damaged equipment immediately.

Social Media and Content (Social Media Lead)

Plan, schedule, and execute all scheduled social media posts in GoHighLevel.

Coordinate with the in-house graphics contributor to produce a minimum of four scheduled

graphics per week.

Maintain a content calendar at least two weeks ahead of execution.

Submit the content queue for General Manager review on the agreed weekly cadence.

Team Leadership and Training

Direct part-time Service Attendants on shift including task assignment, quality control, and on-the-

job training.

Model and enforce service standards and facility procedures.

Escalate performance and attendance issues to the General Manager.

Point of Sale and Reporting

Process transactions on Clover POS accurately, close tabs before end of shift, and run end-of-

day reports.

Submit end-of-day screenshots and daily numbers through the venue's reporting channel.
