Aerotek Maintenance Mechanic in New Berlin, Wisconsin

Job Title: 1st Shift Maintenance Mechanic



Job Description

In this role, you will be responsible for repairing and maintaining automated filling and food manufacturing machinery and equipment. This position requires a broad knowledge of maintenance skills including mechanical repair, plumbing, welding, carpentry, fabrication, and a basic understanding of electrical repair.

Responsibilities

  • Install, repair, rebuild, and maintain machinery and mechanical equipment used in production and related services.

  • Diagnose machine malfunctions and operating difficulties.

  • Make repairs or adjustments to keep production equipment operating efficiently.

  • Rebuild machines and overhaul troublesome components and attachments, which involves dismantling, inspection, machining, or replacement of purchased parts.

  • Perform various activities related to the installation and relocation of existing machines and equipment, including dismantling, erection, leveling, fitting, and aligning operations.

  • Perform preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment.

Essential Skills

  • Maintenance expertise in an industrial setting.

  • Proficiency in PLC troubleshooting and automation.

  • Experience as an electrician.

  • Understanding of GMP and filling machines.

  • 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience.

  • 3+ years of experience in machinery electrical wiring and PLC troubleshooting.

  • Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and blueprints.

Work Environment

Work within a clean warehouse and production environment in a food manufacturing facility. The position operates on a 1st shift schedule from 6:00 am to 3:00 pm.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of New Berlin, WI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $55000.00 - $70000.00/yr.
