Job Title: 1st Shift Maintenance Mechanic
Job Description
In this role, you will be responsible for repairing and maintaining automated filling and food manufacturing machinery and equipment. This position requires a broad knowledge of maintenance skills including mechanical repair, plumbing, welding, carpentry, fabrication, and a basic understanding of electrical repair.
Responsibilities
Install, repair, rebuild, and maintain machinery and mechanical equipment used in production and related services.
Diagnose machine malfunctions and operating difficulties.
Make repairs or adjustments to keep production equipment operating efficiently.
Rebuild machines and overhaul troublesome components and attachments, which involves dismantling, inspection, machining, or replacement of purchased parts.
Perform various activities related to the installation and relocation of existing machines and equipment, including dismantling, erection, leveling, fitting, and aligning operations.
Perform preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment.
Essential Skills
Maintenance expertise in an industrial setting.
Proficiency in PLC troubleshooting and automation.
Experience as an electrician.
Understanding of GMP and filling machines.
3+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
3+ years of experience in machinery electrical wiring and PLC troubleshooting.
Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and blueprints.

Work Environment
Work within a clean warehouse and production environment in a food manufacturing facility. The position operates on a 1st shift schedule from 6:00 am to 3:00 pm.
Job Type & Location
This is a Permanent position based out of New Berlin, WI.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $55000.00 - $70000.00/yr.
