Job Title: Low Voltage Technician Needed

Job Description

The Installer Technician is responsible for installing, terminating, labeling, and certifying the infrastructure needed to support deployed AV systems. This role involves constructing equipment racks, installing field devices, and configuring equipment as outlined in project documentation. The technician will maintain an in-depth knowledge of video systems, control systems, IP networking, video conferencing, and sound systems. The position requires working remotely with programmers to configure hardware, load programming, and debug AV systems.

Responsibilities

  • Install, terminate, label, and certify infrastructure to support AV systems.

  • Construct equipment racks and install field devices.

  • Configure equipment according to project documentation.

  • Maintain knowledge of video systems, control systems, IP networking, video conferencing, and sound systems.

  • Work remotely with programmers to configure hardware and debug systems.

  • Provide technical expertise to project stakeholders and lead end-user training during project closeout.

  • Travel to customer locations for installations, service visits, and technical tasks.

  • Maintain a safe, clean, and professional work environment.

Essential Skills

  • Experience in Audio/Visual systems.

  • Installation experience.

  • Knowledge of Low Voltage systems.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of New Berlin, WI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $20.00/hr.
