Description
We are seeking a seasoned Fractional CFO to provide strategic and hands-on financial leadership for a manufacturing organization. This engagement is ideal for a finance executive who thrives in a consultative environment, can quickly assess current state operations, and drive meaningful impact across financial strategy, reporting, and team leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Provide strategic financial leadership, partnering with executive leadership to guide decision-making and long-term planning
Assess and optimize cash flow, working capital, and capital allocation strategies
Oversee and enhance month-end close and financial reporting processes
Lead, mentor, and stabilize the accounting team
Identify and implement cost optimization strategies across operations
Ensure compliance across financial operations, including benefits and retirement plans
Strengthen banking relationships and support financing activities as needed
Evaluate current processes and implement best practices to improve accuracy, timeliness, and scalabilit
Requirements • Proven experience as a CFO or senior financial leader, preferably in manufacturing environments.
• Strong technical accounting skills and expertise in cost management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and other financial systems.
• Solid understanding of cash flow management and capital planning.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor teams effectively.
• Experience managing 401(k) compliance and banking relationships.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities, with a focus on driving strategic initiatives.
