Position: CNC Machinist
Location: New Bedford, MA
Pay: $20.40/hr – $35.79/hr
Two Shifts Available: 2nd, Monday - Friday, 2pm - 10pm OR 3rd -Sunday - Thursday, 9:30pm - 6:00am
What You’ll Do
Set up,tram,and indicate vises and fixtures with minimal downtime
Safely load tooling into CNC equipment; load/unload components and materials
Operate CNC machinery with precision and consistency
Recognize, maintain, and properly use inserts, fixtures, and tooling
Use CMM equipment to ensure molds and machined components meet exact specifications
What You Bring
Vocational High School or Machine Shop Apprenticeship preferred
Minimum 1 year of CNC machining center experience
Strong math skills and proficiency with precision measuring tools
Solid blueprint reading and geometric tolerancing skills
Ability to modify programs, adjust tool offsets, and regulate speeds/feeds
