Aerotek Production Worker in New Baltimore, Michigan

Job Title: Production Worker Job Description

Join our team as a Production Worker where you will play an integral role in our manufacturing process by assembling filters. This role involves working closely with your team, following detailed work orders, and ensuring the quality of the final product. This position requires standing for the entire shift and working in a repetitive environment.

Responsibilities

  • Follow work orders and instructions to assemble filters.

  • Attach screens to brackets to complete filter assembly.

  • Assist with assembly and packaging of different filters when necessary.

  • Rotate between different stations, focusing primarily on the spot area.

  • Maintain product flow to meet customer demand.

Essential Skills

  • Ability to read a tape measure.

  • Capability to lift up to 20 lbs repeatedly.

  • Experience in Manufacturing or Production for at least 6 months.

  • Ability to stand on feet for 8 to 10 hours per shift.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with production spot welding.

  • Assembly experience.

  • Shop hand experience.

Work Environment

Our facility focuses on manufacturing HVAC system filters, featuring separate sections for welding, assembly, and production. This environment can become extremely hot during summer months and may be slightly messy with limited space for movement. Safety is a priority, and attention is required when navigating the shop floor. With approximately 30 employees, the team operates on a single shift from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with optional work on Saturdays.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of New Baltimore, MI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $16.00/hr.
