Project Cost Analyst
The PCA will be responsible for proactively monitoring and forecasting project budgets and supporting the Project Managers in financial decisions. The
analyst will also be responsible for structuring the financial tracking methods of this new portfolio for long-term scalability. They will work alongside the Project Manager they are supporting under the supervision of a team leader.
The ideal candidate is excited about the opportunity to design mechanisms that effectively track project progress and ensure it is compliant with client requirements. This candidate should be a team player and a self-starter with a financial management, accounting, or project management background.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Monthly project forecasting of costs based on project status
Updating multiple databases with resource assignments, work order and purchase order data, schedule adjustments, project records, budgets, and forecasts while working with many stakeholders
Creation and monitoring of work orders, purchase orders, change orders, invoices, etc.
Creating a scalable structure to track project financials as the portfolio grows
Ensuring project financial health and compliance with escalation and limit policies
Attending project meetings with the Project Manager to take meeting minutes and provide cost analyst support as needed for discussions
Create and provide financial analysis reports as needed to support project discussions and progress tracking
Preferred:
Experience with process development or startup projects
Bachelor’s degree
Experience working in consulting environment
Experience with ServiceNow, P6, Maximo, Peoplesoft, Ecosys, & Smartsheet
Required:
Associate’s degree
Experience with Microsoft Office Products
Willingness to learn new systems and financial policies
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of New Albany, OH.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $44.67/hr.
