Entry-Level Outside Data Center Laborer (On-Site) – New Albany, OH

Position Summary
We are hiring Entry-Level Outside Data Center Laborers to support a major data center new construction project. This role is ideal for individuals looking to get into the construction, telecom, or OSP (Outside Plant) industry with no prior experience required. Training is provided on site.
Responsibilities
Assist with general outdoor labor tasks supporting data center new construction.
Help crews install conduit, pathways, duct banks, and other OSP infrastructure.
Move materials, load/unload equipment, and set up job sites.
Dig trenches, prepare pathways, and handle dirt/stone as needed.
Provide support for Microduct installation and cable pathway prep.
Maintain clean and safe work areas.
Follow all safety guidelines and wear required PPE at all times.
Take direction from Leads, Technicians, and Supervisors.
Work occasional weekend overtime based on project workload.
Required Qualifications
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
Ability to lift 50–75 lbs consistently.
Comfortable standing, walking, and bending for long periods.
Strong reliability and punctuality—attendance is essential.
Willingness to learn new skills in construction and OSP work.
Ability to pass a drug test and BGC
Preferred (Not Required)
Experience in:
Construction
Labor or landscaping
Telecom/low-voltage
Material handling or warehouse
Familiarity with hand tools, shovels, trenching tools, or basic power tools.
Work Environment
Outdoor construction area supporting a large-scale data center new-build.
Fast-paced environment with multiple teams and trades on site.
Work around heavy equipment and high-traffic construction zones.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $30.00/hr.
