Job Title: Manufacturing Technician

Job Description

The Sr. Manufacturing Technician plays a critical role in supporting manufacturing operations by assembling, testing, and troubleshooting instrumentation and universal test machines. This hands-on position requires close collaboration with Engineering and Operations to meet quality, delivery, and production goals in an ISO-regulated environment while driving efficiency and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble and test instrumentation and universal test machines.

  • Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues in a hands-on manner.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering and Operations teams.

  • Ensure compliance with ISO standards and contribute to continuous improvement.

Essential Skills

  • Minimum of five years of experience in an ISO-regulated manufacturing environment.

  • Proficiency in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting.

  • Hands-on experience with assembly and testing of instrumentation and test machines.

  • Strong skills in MS Office: Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Work Environment

Located in New Albany, Indiana, the work environment is an industrial physics hub that provides testing and inspection equipment to ensure the integrity of packaging, materials, and products. The facility operates as a center for quality control and R&D solutions, supporting various industries—including food, beverage, and medical—by testing for properties like seal quality, strength, and material thickness. The role involves a physical position with first shift hours from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of New Albany, IN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $30.00/hr.
