Siemens Energy Field Sales Account Manager-New Units (West Region) in Nevada

A Snapshot of Your Day

There are two positions responsible for New Unit Sales opportunities for the North America Sales region for Gas Services. One, will be responsible for the territory that encompasses the Southeast region of United States the other position, will focus on the territory that encompasses the Western region of the United States. The position reports directly to the RVP of Sales Central for North America and Canada.

How You’ll Make anImpact

  • Leading GS Sales opportunities for SEI’slarge gas turbine business in North America

  • Business Development efforts to supportnew gas generation

  • Developing strong relationships with IOU,IPP, Municipalities, and Coop’s, EPCs, owner engineers, and architectengineers,

  • Coordinating the activities of supportingHub during the Sales cycle

  • Maintaining effective relationships withBusiness Area leadership, executing on their priorities

  • Crafting compelling value propositionsand setting winning strategies

  • Closely coordinating with GS ServiceSales colleagues

  • Support the hub in obtaining LOAapprovals via excellent preparation and communication

  • Support Negotiating contracts

  • Promoting Siemens Energy’s Generationportfolio

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, BusinessAdministration, Sales or other relevant discipline

  • 10+ years of experience in the gas turbine businessfunctions (Sales, products, projects,)

  • Willingness to travel up to 50%

  • Readiness to work in office environment100% when not traveling

  • Extensive customer-facing experience

  • Applicants must be legallyauthorized for employment in the United States without need for current orfuture employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees withcurrent visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.

This job may be based in California, Colorado, Nevada, or Washington. Siemens Energy offers a variety of health and wellness benefits including paid time off and holiday pay.  Details regarding our benefits can be found here: https://benefitsatenergy.com/thinking-of-joining.html .  The base salary range for this position may be $154k-250k and the annual incentive target is 20% of base salary.

Specific offers are determined by various factors, such as experience, skills, certifications, and other business needs. Employees typically do not start at the top of the range, though compensation depends on each individual’s qualifications.
