Colville Tribal Health Care Authority Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Nespelem, Washington
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
(Education, Training and Special Requirements)
- Must possess a current license as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the state of Washington; AND have 12 months of experience in a long term care facility, preferred.
- Must be knowledgeable of nursing, medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to long-term care.
- Must report abuse and neglect to State Hotline as a mandated reporter.
- Must possess the ability to make independent decisions.
- Willing to cover extra shifts when able, as this facility operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
- Must successfully clear an extensive Criminal History Background Inquiry and maintain throughout employment.
- Must maintain a State Drivers' License and be eligible for the Tribes' insurance throughout employment.

- Must be able to read, write, and understand the English language.
- Must be knowledgeable in Geriatrics and LTC setting and Chronic Diseases.
- Must be able to work and think independently.
- Must respect resident rights.
- Must be able to push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of fifty (50) pounds to a minimum height of three (3) feet and be able to push, pull, move, and/or carry such a weight a minimum distance of fifty (50) feet.
- Must be available to work all shifts, weekends, and holidays.
