Production Operator - 3rd Shift

Job Description

As a Production Operator on the 3rd shift, you will work with hand tools and various machinery to assemble circuit boards and sub-assemblies used across multiple fields. You will use tools like screwdrivers, torque drivers, and wrenches, and operate production machinery to print on solder paste and smaller components. Quality checks on your work will be essential before proceeding to the next steps. You will use computers to access step-by-step instructions necessary for assembly, requiring familiarity with basic computer operations.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize hand tools such as screwdrivers, torque drivers, and wrenches to assemble components.

  • Operate production machinery to print on solder paste and smaller parts.

  • Perform quality checks on assembled circuit boards and sub-assemblies.

  • Access step-by-step instructions using computers, requiring the ability to log into multiple programs.

Essential Skills

  • Experience in production and computer operation.

  • Proficiency in using basic computer programs.

  • Ability to assemble, solder, and use hand tools effectively.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • 1 year of assembly experience preferred.

  • 1-2 years of soldering experience can lead to higher starting pay.

  • Experience in picking and packaging is beneficial.

  • Background in customer service is advantageous.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Neenah, WI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.30/hr.
