Community First Credit Union Consumer Loan Servicer in Neenah, Wisconsin
Description
The Consumer Loan Servicer handles home equity disbursements, prepares lien releases on secured consumer loans and demonstrates a high level of detail-orientation, organizational skills, and time-sensitivity. They will know all of the key functions in consumer loan servicing, and provide exceptional service to members and employees. They share a variety of responsibilities on a rotating basis within the department.
As our Consumer Loan Servicer, you will:
Provide outstanding, quality service to external and internal members
Disburse home equity loans from our loan origination system to the core system
Perform quality control on home equity closing documentation
Prepare lien releases and satisfactions for paid loans and send payoff confirmation letters
Complete loan maintenance requests and related transactions on our core system
Complete internal and external loan payoff quote requests
Electronically record mortgages and satisfactions to the County Register of Deeds
Process payment protection claims and apply approved funds to loans
Submit Guaranteed Asset Protection (GAP) claims
Process GAP and Mechanical Repair Coverage cancellations
Work with 3rd parties to process total loss claims
Generate adverse action forms for all denied and withdrawn applications
Sort and process incoming department mail
Handle member and lender calls in the phone queue
Monitor and process emails received in the department shared inbox
Our ideal candidate will have a combination of:
Requires a high school diploma or equivalent degree (GED, HSED)
Minimum of one year of lending or financial services experience is preferred
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
Strong organizational and time management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite and web-based software packages
Passion for providing outstanding service to our members – internal and external
