POSITION SUMMARY
Executes and manages a range of multimedia and marketing activities to support the credit union. Updates and maintains specific graphic design tasks. Creates and implements a social media plan, including content creation, scheduling, and analysis. Manages and responds to all aspects of member media interactions. Assists the Community Development Coordinator at events and serves as a backup in the absence of the Community Development Coordinator. Additionally, this position provides multiple levels of support for the marketing team, ensuring the consistent projection and maintenance of the credit unions professional image and brand.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES
Assumes responsibility for the effective performance of specific multimedia duties.
- Designs graphics and videos for all social media platforms used by the credit union including, but not limited to, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn.
- Creates and executes a monthly social media plan, including tasks such as writing copy, taking/editing photos and videos, and scheduling posts across all platforms.
- Tracks and analyzes social media performance to guide future strategies.
- Monitors and responds to all social media engagement such as Google reviews, Facebook comments/messages in a timely and professional manner.
- Creates and edits videos to be published on in-branch lobby screens.
- Maintains the Eltropy or other relevant marketing text message platforms by managing unsubscribes, sending text messages, and staying up to date with compliance regulations.
Assists
with the effective performance of
graphic design duties.
- Assists in the design, production, and distribution of internal and external marketing materials including print and digital media.
- Creates signs and flyers for all branches, including holiday closures and specialty items.
- Assists other departments with writing and formatting letters, fliers, notices, and forms.
- Assists in writing copy.
- Assists in keeping all website and digital content current and up-to-date, including, but not limited to, in-branch lobby screens and home banking.
- Maintains consistent brand identity across all marketing channels.
Supports the Marketing Department and assumes responsibility for effectively completing public relations activities.
- Assists the Community Development Coordinator at all events and serves as a backup in the absence of the Community Development Coordinator.
- Attends networking events specifically with the Chambers of Commerce in Bridge City and Vidor.
- Resolves requests, questions, and problems courteously and professionally. Ensures that communications are efficient and effective.
- Ensures that public relations and marketing activities create positive member, prospective member, and community responses.
- Assists the marketing department in carrying out marketing promotions for members, prospective members, and the community positively.
- Researches and reconciles the marketing departments monthly budget in a timely and accurate manner.
Assumes responsibility for
maintaining and updating marketing and media channels.
Assists in maintaining and updating the credit union's multimedia system (hardware). Assists with updates to continually maintain the credit union website.
Responsible for updating the intranet (Marketplace).
Responsible for ordering business cards.
Assists in creating and developing adv rtisements for multimedia channels used by the credit union.
Responsible for writing, updating, and submitting in a timely manner statement messages and messages on hold.
